Please join us for the next Tech Starter panel discussion, celebrating International Women’s Day together with Dell Technologies!

Our wonderful panelists are all industry leaders that have all taken on the challenge to create a more diverse and equal work place:

Mary O’Brien, General Manager of IBM Security

IBM Security is the largest enterprise security company in the world and Mary leads a global team, focused on delivering IBM’s extensive security product and services portfolio.

A lifelong engineer, Mary’s career started with the last indigenous Semiconductor manufacturer in the UK. In 1994, she joined the Motorola GSM systems division and developed her skills in ASIC, PBC and Software development of telco products. Mary earned her Bachelor’s in Engineering from Dublin City University.

With more than 30 years of industry experience developed through tenures in the UK, US and Ireland, Mary spends a lot of her time mentoring others and ensures that those who work for her have mentors as well.

Maeve Culloty, Managing Director of HPE Ireland

Maeve is the first female appointment as managing director in the history of HPE’s footprint in Ireland. Maeve took on the role as Managing Director in November 2019 having previously worked with HPE Financial Services since 2007 as EMEA business development Director and Enterprise Segment Sales Lead.

Prior to that, she worked in senior audit and compliance roles in firms such as KPMG and State Street. A qualified chartered accountant and business studies graduate, Maeve was listed on the CRN Annual Women of the Channel list, which celebrates influential women leaders for the accomplishments and impact they have had on the IT channel. Maeve has also been shortlisted and nominated for the prestigious Women in IT awards, UK.

Jess Majekodunmi, Director of the Human Insights Lab at Accenture

Jess is an accomplished design historian, an experienced facilitator and an occasional poet. Her career has spanned continents, sectors and disciplines. She is currently the Director of the Human Insights Lab at The Dock, Accenture’s Flagship R&D and Innovation Center, based in Dublin, Ireland.

Outside of work, Jess is a co-founding member of Beyond Representation, an organisation championing women of colour who are breaking new ground in Irish media, arts & business. Jess says she tries to be fearless when battling imposter syndrome, gracious when asked where she is from, and relentless in her drive to pioneer conscientious innovation.

Denis Lucey, VP EMEA Infrastructure Support Services & Cherrywood Site Leader at Dell Technologies

Denis is a transformation leader delivering innovative customer support services. He harnesses the power of emerging technologies to deliver a data-driven customer experience which unlocks growth opportunities and strengthens business resilience. Denis leads EMEA & Global teams of over 1,600 people which use the power of technology to meet the changing needs of customers.

Denis champions an inclusive and diverse workplace culture where everyone can bring their true self to work and where everyone can push the boundaries of innovation.

The panel will be moderated by Annie Chow from Dell Technologies

Annie has 15 years tenure in Dell Technologies leading a strong track record of sales, sales management and partner management across EMEA markets. Since 2019, she has been developing and transforming Global Learning & Development for Dell’s Renewals business, strengthening customer engagements and accelerating revenue attainment for 1500 team members.

Annie is Chinese Irish American from Hong Kong now based in Dublin, Ireland. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with degrees in Political Science, Communications and Business Management. She is passionate about driving better outcomes in Diversity & Inclusion and developing future leaders in STEAM. Annie has been an Ambassador for Junior Achievers since 2007, the Brand & Business Impact lead for Dell’s Women in Action since 2015, and a member of Connecting Women In Technologies since 2018.
