Monday 29th June, 2020: On 8 July, PowerToFly and CWIT member New Relic will host Cultivating Change in Tech, an invite-only virtual event to give women professionals an opportunity to meet New Relic’s women leaders and male allies, learn about the platform, and discuss how the company supports equity and inclusion.
PowerToFly is an online platform and community of more than 2.4 million women across the world. It connects professional women with companies committed to creating more diverse and inclusive workforces, and with each other. Since it was founded in 2014, PowerToFly has helped women get hired at tech organisations including Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Zapier and Slack.
New Relic, a recent welcome addition to the CWIT network, has successfully partnered with PowerToFly previously, working on events to connect the company with talented women in the US and APAC regions, and with Cultivating Change in Tech, now also in Europe. During the event, New Relic will share insights into why the world’s best software and DevOps teams rely on its expertise, and how a diverse workforce has helped it to achieve the highest revenue of any pure cloud-based observability platform.
Demand for support for women in tech is clear from the growth PowerToFly has recently experienced. It held more than 200 in-person events in 2019, and launched its virtual event platform – totalling over 300 events – in December. It is on track to double the number of events held in 2020.
While it’s not a requirement to be searching for a job to attend Cultivating Change in Tech, New Relic is actively hiring with more than 140 open roles across the globe, and is interested in connecting with skilled professionals.
Register now to network, gain career advice, and ask the team your questions, all from the comfort of home on Wednesday, July 8th from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM BST.
Or get in touch with PowerToFly to learn how it can help you to build and retain a more diverse workforce.
