CWIT launches virtual book club

Thursday 30th April: Early Careers have introduced a Virtual Book Club for people to share their passion of reading with others. This is the perfect opportunity to discover new books, read compelling stories, share your thoughts and hear the opinions and views of your fellow readers all from the comfort of your own home. If you have ever thought about joining a book club, now is your chance to get involved, meet some new people, enjoy the fascinating discussions over a cup of coffee, or maybe a glass of wine!

Who can join?

Anyone in CWIT, Anyone from our CWIT member companies, anyone who loves to read or if you prefer to just listen in on topical conversations.

Share the news with your colleagues and friends who you think would like to get involved, we welcome everyone!

When is it?

There will be a one hour call held every two months to give members the chance to discuss their ideas and opinions on the current book and help to decide the next read.

The first call is planned for 15th June 5:50-6:30pm – Each meeting may vary between morning and evening times depending on the suitability for our members.

What are we reading?

Since this is CWIT, we are focusing on the theme of Empowering Women. This theme brings a lot of exciting topics along with it, ones which are very controversial and informative and will provoke some really interesting discussions on our calls.

Our first book is called Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez.
